bond）主要指评级在投资级以下或不具有评级的公司所发行的债券，通常以高票息或低折扣作为信用风险补偿，因此相较于一般的投资级债券具有更高的潜在收益，又被称为非投资级债券、投机级债券或垃圾债券。根据国际三大评级机构对债券信用等级的划分，穆迪债券评级Baa3以下，标普和惠誉债券评级BBB-以下的债券为高收益债券（参考下表）。高收益债券往往具有较高的违约风险，之所以能够吸引投资者，是因为其具有比一般信用债券更高的收益率，投资机构如能较好地进行组合，收益不仅能够覆盖风险，还可能获得巨大的投资利润。
